Hoggle and the Worm is a short story set in the Labyrinth universe written by Ted Naifeh and Adrianne Ambrose and illustrated by Cory Godbey. The story was released as part of Archaia's 2012 Free Comic Book Day hardback comic, and was the first Labyrinth tie-in story to be released by Archaia.
Hoggle is upset because he's alone and has no one to kiss at Gobbler's Glade, the Labyrinth's hot-spot for courting couples. His misery attracts the attention of The Worm, who proposes that Hoggle should approach Humongous and tell him "Yer father was a boiler and yer mother was a kettle." Hoggle dutifully follows the worm's advice, only to enrage Humongous and be chased away. Hoggle escapes and finds the worm, who cheerfully informs Hoggle that his loneliness would have been solved by Humongous because Humongous would have chopped him in two. Hoggle is, understandably, not amused.
